OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND OR USE OF WIRELESS SERVICE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR USE OF ANY PARTICULAR ENTRY FORMAT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Playskool sweepstakes begins on October 1, 2008, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m., ET on November 30, 2008.

SPONSOR: Meredith Corporation, 1716 Locust St., Des Moines, Iowa 50309-3023 (hereinafter referred to as "Sponsor").

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and at least 21 years of age at time of entry. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months performed services for Sponsor, ShopText, or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising and promoting the sweepstakes and/or supplying the prizes, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated and successor companies, and the immediate family members and household members, whether related or not, of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or participate in the sweepstakes. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year. Void where prohibited. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

DURING THE PROMOTION PERIOD, THERE ARE THREE (3) WAYS TO ENTER:

(1) Online entry: Visit www.parents.com/playskool and follow the directions provided to submit a completed online entry form; OR

(2) Wireless entry: If you are a wireless service subscriber and have a text messaging capable device, use your mobile device to text (standard messaging service (SMS) message) the keyword PLAY to 467467. You will be charged standard SMS text rates for each text message sent or received from your handset according to your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Each wireless carrier's rate plan may vary, and entrants should contact their wireless carrier for information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this sweepstakes. Any text message form of entry into this sweepstakes will be deemed made by the named account holder whose mobile phone number is assigned at the time of entry to the mobile messaging device so used. You will receive a return text message asking for your entry information. If you are not already a ShopText service registrant, you will be asked to provide registration information. To get help with the sweepstakes at any time, text "HELP" to 467467. ShopText has a no SPAM policy; OR

(3) Email entry: Email a picture of your child enjoying hands-on play to playskool@meredith.com. Must include name, address, daytime phone number and email address for entry. Photos must be taken by you (non-professional) and may not have won any other award or previously been published in any medium. Photos must also be in JPEG or BMP format and no larger than 300K.

LIMIT: One (1) entry per person, regardless of entry method. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, identities or any other methods will void all of that participant's entries.

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to add or delete a wireless carrier at any time, without notice.

All submissions become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

WINNER SELECTION: On or about December 14, 2008, a random drawing from among all eligible entries received will be conducted under Sponsor's supervision, and one (1) winner will be selected.

ODDS of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: One (1) winner will receive a Playskool toy prize package, approximate retail value ("ARV") $500.00. The prize package will be delivered approximately thirty (30) days from date of winner verification. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or portions thereof with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Sponsor will determine all elements of prizing in its sole discretion. Prize package may not be assigned, transferred, changed, or substituted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize package is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee express or implied by Sponsor. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third-party product or service accepted by the winner. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. All federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided by Sponsor will be the sole responsibility of the winner. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.

Sponsor, ShopText, or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising and promoting the sweepstakes and/or supplying the prizes, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated and successor companies, and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, agents and shareholders (collectively, the "Released Parties") are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons, including death or property damage arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize. Released Parties are not responsible for errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical or other error in the printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of online entries, email entries, or text messages, the announcement of the prizes or in any other sweepstakes-related matters. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects.

If a potential winner submitted an online or email entry, the winner notification will be sent by U.S. Mail. If a potential winner submitted a text message entry, the winner notification will be sent via text message to potential winner's wireless device. Regular carrier charges for text messages or mobile telephone calls may apply in connection with notifications from Sponsor. During the Promotion Period, Sponsor, at its discretion, may send entrants additional notifications regarding the sweepstakes. Entrants will be charged standard carrier-specific text-message or call rates, depending on entrants' individual wireless or non-mobile pricing plans, for these additional notifications. There is no limit as to the number of notifications the Sponsor may send during the sweepstakes period or restriction on when notifications may be sent. If you do not want to receive further notifications, send an SMS message to 467467 with the message "STOP" from the wireless device you used to enter. If you submit a wireless entry, you agree to have your mobile phone number and registration information remain on ShopText databases. Sponsor is not responsible for any and all communication between ShopText and wireless entrant that relates to this sweepstakes or for any and all communications between entrant and ShopText regarding future promotions.

PRIVACY: By entering and providing the required entry information, you acknowledge that Sponsor may also send you information, samples or special offers it believes may be of interest to you about its publications or other complementary goods offered by Hasbro, Inc. Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's and Hasbro's online privacy policies at www.americanbaby.com and http://www.hasbro.com/home/privacy.html. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO SHARE YOUR INFORMATION, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Except where prohibited, by participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this sweepstakes, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this sweepstakes but in no event will entrant be entitled to attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

GENERAL: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to an infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes, at which time Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received at the time of the sweepstakes cancellation or termination. Released Parties are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, miscommunications or communications line failure, lines, cell towers, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or text messages. Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, cable, satellite, computer on-line systems, for lost, interrupted or unavailable networks, servers, providers, website, or other connections, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer or mobile device relating to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCOMPATIBILITY OF ENTRANT'S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY WITH SPONSOR'S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a potential winner based on an email address, the potential winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the email address submitted at time of entry and such person must comply with these Official Rules. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a potential winner based on a wireless phone number, the potential winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the wireless phone number at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is the natural person who is assigned the wireless phone number by wireless service provider responsible for assigning that wireless phone number. Use of script, macro or other automated devices are not valid for entry and all such entries will be void. Sponsor may ask any entrant or potential winner to provide Sponsor with proof that such party is the Authorized Account Holder of the email account or wireless phone number associated with the entry.

Except where prohibited by law: (i) entry constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use entrant's entry, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph, entry materials, and any statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without compensation, notification or permission; (ii) potential winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity and W-9 form within ten (10) days of date of notification or, at Sponsor's sole discretion, such winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, or Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, such winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing, at Sponsor's sole discretion.
